Happy Long Weekend!

I must be doing life all wrong. Sister Ex is now off to the beautiful land of Palm Springs. Warm, bright, and relaxing. She will be sunning herself on a lovely lounge chair with a pool boy nearby to bring her the desired foo foo drink.

And I get to go to Wenatchee Washington for the weekend for more softball. This is so wrong!

The view from my motel, I mean Hotel. I will be walking to the ice machine to fill up my cooler for the ballpark. No pool boys or cocktails poolside for me.

But there is a  Roasters nearby for shots and beer I suppose. This is not good. Oh brother, or rather sister, this is bad, really really bad.

Where should we go with this?

This chair came off of one of our staging jobs. A poor throw away that we know just needs another chance to shine. It has great bones.

A world away...

One of the homes we staged had this wonderful contempletive hut. The garden path brought you to its front door. Quiet, serene and beautiful. One of the many reasons the house was on the market for only a couple of weeks.

Airstream Fun

It worked! We had an amazing weekend towing the cute Airstream and setting up camp. Parked outside our home on Queen Anne it was a show stopper. Everyone walking by wanted to tour the trailer and several cars simply stopped or slowed down at the sight. It was hysterical. They bring smiles everywhere they go.

We had the most vintage trailer in the park. Not many go back to 1962. The highlight for me was the delicious food cooked over the fire. The girls loved having their own twin bed and their own space. I could not wipe the smile off my face. What a fun fun weekend! Thank you brother Sean!

It has finally come true! Our little family is off on our first Airstream Adventure! It has been a dream of mine for years. I am going to find out if I should have just kept it a dream or if this is the leisure life for us.  Have a great weekend!
