Sister Ex is still shopping away. That warehouse sale cleared some space in her head to get creative. Just picked up these metal stools and chairs. More to come...

Went on vacation and did a bit of online shopping. Amazing what a couple girls can get done poolside.

Warehouse Sale

Apparently Sister Ex is completely uninspired with what we have in our warehouse so we are unloading a ton of furniture, accessories, linens, bedding and art. Help us relieve her of such a burden so that she may be free to go on a big fat buying spree.

Airstream Happiness

Thank goodness for the canopy addition to our glamping life. Day 2 is cold and rainy but we are happily protected. I added a curtain panel on the inside for additional privacy. I am learning that most campsites are squeezed tightly together and a tiny bit of privacy is welcomed.

Still loving that I am here and not at home despite the weather.

Camp Like a Girl

Off for another Airstream adventure. Adding more cuteness to my Airstream today as we bring it into the city for a day of packing. I added temporary pillows from our warehouse until the others are finished, new curtains, and some new framed pictures. Each time it gets a bit better and I love it.

Book Club Reading

Our discussion was lively regarding the memoir Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It is an easy read but an awful and heart wrenching subject. Eternally grateful to be born and raised in the United States where rape, incest, beatings and honor killings are outlawed and where women are equal, respected and able to work. NY Times review here.

May not look like much...Airstream Troubleshooting

There is a bit of problem solving when attempting to rehab a '61 Airstream. It doesn't look like much but we solved a problem and made our glamping life more comfortable.

This custom designed contraption now allows the family to use the toilet. It's a piece of beauty indeed. I was told, when purchasing an old Airstream, to find that trusted someone to help with the fixes. I found Ryan from Ryan's RV. A straight shooting kind of guy. LOVE. He had us pegged the moment we brought our sweet trailer through the door and helped us newbies work through our questions and repairs and we did not spend a fortune. LOVE...
