Airstream Focus

Back from our brief road trip. Now we are picking up our Airstream, bringing it to the city, and getting it all dialed in for another trip.

Stopped at Fabric Depot in Portland for inspiration. The top is for throw pillows on my newly upolstered Airstream couch and the other is for the curtains. I had two looks here but I think I managed to marry them by using the fabric below.

Antelers Chandelier Sighting

Went to bid a job in Bellevue and came across this wonderful chandelier. It was the highlight of my day.
One of my most popular post involves a twig chandelier found here.

Cheap Wine and Relaxation

This is my go-to wine. Chariot found at Trader Joes. I had it sitting out as a reminder that at the end of the work day I would have a moment to sit quietly and sip.

Art Around My House

This picture of my daughters was created by artist Sandi Davis.
Purchased this piece from my sweet friend Lisa.

This hangs in my studio. Just a little rummage sale piece.

I have always had this sitting by Mary. She deserves flowers everyday.
I purchased this in Italy at a local market. It only measures about 6" x 4". The artist's name is Margo.

Who's inside that house?

Since Sunday drives are pretty much obsolete I have to pull over and snap a shot that intrigues me. For the most part the photos involve houses. It often brings questions to my mind.

Who lives here?
 Is that the master bedroom?
Is the flag up each day or just when they are home?
(Sister Ex had a neighbor with a pool and would raise a flag when the pool was open to the neighborhood)
 Who cleans that house?

How did these massive urns get planted? Is it a bit over done? My urn is way bigger than your urn.

Class Field Trip

I had the unique opportunity to chaperone a class outing to see a play downtown Seattle. We (I use that term loosely) had to put about 100 students on 4 city buses. I learned some things:

1. I failed as a chaperone.
2. Chaperon can be with or without an "e".
3.The middle school teachers are a talented bunch. (I watched how they handled and organized the  students.)
4. Despite giving detailed instructions the kids kept asking the same questions. I would go crazy as a teacher  having to answer said question over and over.)
5. Our kids look great in their uniforms.
6. They are polite.

Here are a few photos of the trip.

Passing the time with a goofy hand clapping game.

These boys eventually gave up their seat....awww

I just wanted to capture images (on my phone) that showed how the kids looked day to day. Nothing spectacular but I liked it none-the-less.

A Day of Seattle Views

How lucky to be able to see a beautiful view of Lake Washington

and finish the day with a view of Puget Sound.

The perks of being in houses all over the place.
