Staging Bellevue

These Stager girls actually worked in shifts on Saturday to finish this job. We had to load in without heat. The inside of the house was in the 40 degrees range. You could see our breath as we miserably worked away. Finally too cold to be creative we had to abort mission until the heat was repaired. That led us to the Saturday. Our Stager Girls are a motivated bunch and pushed these Sisters to finish on a Saturday. Love the results and I love our Stager Girls.

Stagers Unite

Sister Extraordinaire and I are heading off to Vegas for a Staging Convention. Yes, there are conventions for Stagers too.

We are leaving the company in the capable hands of our Stager Girls. We have been staging 4-5 jobs each week and what fun seeing the warehouse reduce its inventory. Had a few minutes to rework the Stager Girl office which is getting cuter each time we tweek. Tah Tah for now!

Stager Girl Office Inspiration

Sister Ex and I have this table and chair in our NEW warehouse space. We are glamming it up so we have an inspiring space for our big Stager ideas!

We will add a bit of Kelly Wearstler inspiration:

As the Stager girls say "an O.S. chair" for some down time. (When that would be I know not...)

And finish with a wall of art. We are currently buried in stacks of that at the moment.
Presto! Our office is complete. Photos to follow of the real deal Stager Girl office.

The Color is Blue...

Sister Ex and I have a passion for blue. You will see it appear often in our staging, in our clothing and in our homes

Family Giving

"Dear Santa, Mom said you got lost last year and could not find your way to our house..."
This letter was the beginning of The Forgotten Children's Fund in 1976.

Our yearly outing as a family to wrap gifts for families in need. What a fun time!

Let it be known that we are a very serious family, very serious...

That was not me sticking wrapping paper on Sister Ex!

Day in the life of a Stager Girl

We cannot always take ourselves too seriously-even when we are working on a gazillion dollar home.

Truth be told, we were to share a bottle of champagne after completing our sweltering hot Friday job but our deadline got in the way. Damn those deadlines anyway!

Saturday with Redfin

Sister Ex and I were asked to speak about staging to a group of home owners at a Redfin event sponsored by real estate agent Sabrina Booth. For certain she is the Rock Star of Redfin. We are grateful to be asked. Needless to say Sister and I had some good laughs over this crazy Stager Girl journey we have been on.

The Sister's are off

We are taking leave of schlepping furniture and tromping through homes across Seattle for some Rest and Relaxation. Leaving the Open House Stager Girls to hold up the fort and continue to beautify.

This Middle Sister is in Phoenix

And sister Ex is on Maui

Now that is inspiration!!

Just Like the Model-Los Angeles

Our favorite stop: A warehouse full of furniture, art, accessories that were used in model homes.
We purchased this super hip leather sofa and love seat for our Seattle condos.
All 3 of us wanted to put these chairs in our own homes but the company won out and they now reside in our warehouse.

These chairs are already working away in a lovely Bellevue condo.
We had our work cutout for us. Had to comb through this warehouse several times over to pick the best of the best for our clients.
This also ended up at our recent Bellevue staging.
Most of the artwork is chosen by Sister Ex and we had plenty to choose from.
The best part was seeing Sister Ex and Jo pull up with a Uhaul trailer. Sister Ex is always up for trying something crazy and new-especially when it involves a good laugh. And laugh we did!

Here are some of our purchases.

All in all our LA trip was more for adventure and inspiration. Not for cock-tailing, dining, sunshine, getting away or any of that shallow stuff. We had our clients in mind and want to make 2016 our best staging year ever!
