Checking out for a few summer days

This Middle Sister is leaving the stager girls behind for a few days. Off on another Airstream adventure and a bit of glamping.

Temporarily Checking Out

Leaving my stager girls for but a moment. Gotta hit the road for some R & R. See you very soon!

Closed

It will be silent on my end for a few days. I am off in search of R & R, food, family, friends, sunshine and heat.

Hittin' the Road

Leaving this Staging business to my trusty Sister. She will keep the furniture moving and groovin' while I head on down the highway. It will be quiet on the blog front but you all can handle a bit of R and R as well.

Happy Glamping!

More Airstream Love

Took my Airstream in to see about a polish. No one wants to take it on so until I meet that special person who is willing to make it shine I must be content with a soapy scrubbing in the Spring.
Poor baby...

In the yard was a couple of gems that had to be filmed.

Hunt for inspiration

Headed to Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood to find unique shopping and inspiration.

Found it in the Georgetown Trailer Park:

And a great place for grub:

Calamity Janes:

A building from the old Rainier Brewery Days:

The Susan Wheeler shop with to-die-for collections. A breathtaking, inspiring experience.

Only One Thing On My Mind

I am sitting in the morning sun with a cup of jo in my hand and a gentle breeze coming in off Puget Sound. Trying to step away from the daily grind, get inspiration from simple surroundings and relish my sweet 1961 Airstream.

And maybe someday it will sparkle on the beach like this:

Airstream Update

My 1963 Airstream fits beautifully with the Worlds Fair energy. It is in the city now getting ready for some summer fun.

Another Airstream or rather a Silver Streak was added to the family. This one is a 1955 beauty.
It takes my mind off of this cold and wet Seattle winter and on to the open road and possibilities. Here is another look at my 1963 Ourlander Airstream.

Happily Vacationing

After parking our sweet Airstream and a restful night sleep we opened our door to a breathtaking view.

Shucking oysters on the beach is a new experience. I just copied the locals....
With an Airstream full of girls, you have to add in the beach crafts.
Almost a full moon. Can't remember when I witnessed moonlight dancing on the water...heaven.
The photo below, epitomizes the RV "resort" where we are staying. Tons of beauty and tons of tacky.
Off to visit Sister Ex today in her home on the lake. We planned our vacations without consulting each other and ended up out of town the same week and only 30 minutes away from each other.

Closed for the Week (unless we get inspired on our vacations)

Excited to be away for a week of rest and relaxation. This Middle Sister is off in her cute Airstream to enjoy salty water, splunking on the beach and oysters on the grill.

Sister Ex will be relaxing lake side with the buzz of wet bikes, boats and swimming at her feet. We are actually on the same side of Puget Sound so we may pay each other a visit.

See you when we return!

Airstream Affection

Stole away for a few days for more Airstream fun. So far every trip involves looking at the sky just for the simple beauty of it. This camping thing kind of suits me.  It felt good to experience....
 the shades of blue...
 clouds...

 A lovely sunset...
 A hellish wind storm....
A bit of calm in the early morning...

Our first outdoor camping breakfast...ever

And a quiet moment alone at the campsite.

Camping destination Wanapum State Park, Vantage, Washington.
