6326 22nd Ave NE in Ravenna. Kind of across from Third Place books. WEATHER PERMITTING

We have our usual cool stuff at garage sale prices. Furniture, art, rugs, accessories, bedding, throw pillows, lamps and more.

Here are a some photos of some of the things we are selling.

Upholstered Chairs: (if we can find them)

"Sexy" loveseat:

Glass top blonde desk. Also 2 side tables (not shown) similar in style:

Garden sculptures:

 Twin beds:

Matching desk:

Oversized upholstered chairs: (perfect for any of you fancy pants out there that have a media room)

The only bummer this year is that we do not have any sofas-only a loveseat. Perhaps that may change. When sister Ex gets into sale mode she lets a ton of stuff go. Scary sister stuff.

A favorite topic of mine

Real Estate photos can often give you a laugh. Hooked on Houses blog has a few here for you.

House shopping on Queen Anne

I love looking at homes for sale in my Seattle neighborhood. I loved this home...but fell flat when I saw the inside.

Look at this porch! It's magnificient and dreamy. You have me here that's for sure.

The foyer is stunning!

And here is where it falls flat for me:

The living room needs a more modern-today kind of feel. Oh how I would like to stage it and highlight all of its beauty and fine features.

In the kitchen I would do a dark table to balance all of the dark woodwork in the other rooms and update the chairs.

I just know the bed is oriented in the wrong direction. I would love to tweek this room.

This could be a killer kid hang out area. Imagine a sofa and chairs, a game table and floor pillows. (And the kids out of your hair for awhile).

House Hunting....in Italy

I will have to pick up the pace with my staging job in order to buy one of these jewels. Which one shall it be?

a home in Umbria...

a place in Padua...

a farm house in Tuscany...

or a villa in Venice...

Sixx Design

These are very fun photos of a new project on the market done by husband and wife team-The Novogratz. I have seen them in action on their TV show on Bravo. Both are very laid back and cool. Never mind that they have 7 children. This property is located in New York for $13.5 million. Read more here:

Their body of work is vast. You can visit the firm here. Sure do love how they mix it up.

Staging Seattle

I found this townhouse at first glance to be unexciting and kind of a yawner. Staging changed all of that. We were thrilled with the results. Now it has a great vibe. Just light some candles, pop in a disc and have some friends over. Sold!

Had the owners take down the coat rack. The result was a simple little inviting entry. It doesn't take much to change even the modest of spaces.

This adorable property is listed by Lynn Schofield from Newberry Realty.
