Keep it outside

We have maybe 2 months left to entertain outside. Call your friends, grab your neighbors and have some outdoor fun. Easy recipes like a 1 pot clam bake (America's Test Kitchen) or Paella on the grill will keep you cooking outside with your friends.

Time to take it outside

Looking forward to creating my outdoor space with a rug, pillows, candles, plants, comfortable out door furniture, BBQ... Bring on the good weather!

Summer Inspiration

Leaving you all for a week while I head down the road for some R & R.

Staying Cool

Here in Seattle we are all trying to figure out how to stay cool. The weather has been crazy hot and few of us have air conditioning. I am having difficulty focusing on moving furniture, lifting bins and hanging art. I can only think of cool relaxing shade...

 This beautifully designed gate, fence, rose support gave me an idea for my small city garden.

 This is a result of our day working outside. We cleaned and organized the potting area, J painted the potting bench while Hillary and I tended to planting pots and repairing the outdoor table.
