Tree Trimming

I married into to these special little angels that have been attacked by my cats. This little one just lost an arm yesterday. Isn't it pretty how her hair is tossed across her body?

She looks bundled up in our freezing Seattle weather.

And the simple homemade ornaments by my girls. Thankfully they love pink. A colour which is favored by this middle sister.

Let this be a lesson to the mean people out there.

Redesigning my family room and I am in the market for something to set our TV on and at the same time house all of the games.

All I can think about is falling into one of these beds. No color, just a mellow blank slate so my mind can be at rest. Now I get it...white is good.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

Started my decorating and I'm having a blast! This is about all of the green and red I use. My colours are pink, white and blue.

 I purchased this sweet reindeer at a home improvement store and added my own signature by spraying him a glossy white.

My Inspiration

So fun to run into this photo online. This is the inspiration for painting my dining room table a high gloss light blue, the chairs a high gloss white and the upholstery different on the end chairs. When I went in search of the discontinued Martha Stewart paint color I found out that it is actually a GREEN! So I went in search of my own blue.

Would love to dazzle you even more with professional photographs. But you get the idea. Love that I took a risk-believe me it was scary. If the blue clashes with one of my sets of china then I add a cool heavy upholstery-grade white vinyl table cloth. It creates a modern twist with the ornate-ness of it all.

My dining set was found at auction by Lisa Gleason. It was a 70's stained wood with red crushed velvet upholstery.

Just another pretty face

No time for a "real" post so you'll have to rest your eyes on this beauty. Love the Jonanthan Adler stools. That might even be his owl vase. Isn't it pretty how the gold mirror looks against the pink? So much going on in this space.
