How lucky to be staying at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs and witness the process of a pop up store with super cool artist Steve Harrington. More on it here. To give you an idea of the clientelle here at this hip hotel-they give you a bucket of beers upon check in. (well at least they did me...)
We photographed the images as they unfolded throughout the day. This is Steve Harrington working on his mural right outside our hotel room.

The Winners from the Fair
The student art is my favorite exhibit at the fair. The Evergreen State Fair is small but worthy of a visit. Their art is displayed in glass cases so the photography is not good and the entries are few but very good. All of these are done by 10-16 year olds with dreams of becoming artist still fresh in heads. Love it!

I am bird crazy when it comes to art. Check out this Etsy discovery....Pratt Creek Art. All very petite in size and terribly affordable.

Art Around My House
Purchased this piece from my sweet friend Lisa.
This hangs in my studio. Just a little rummage sale piece.
I purchased this in Italy at a local market. It only measures about 6" x 4". The artist's name is Margo.

Affordable Art
My talented stylist friend, Kamie, turned me on to this art site called 20x200. It connects you with original art at affordable prices and it's good.
